When you browse

This is a static website hosted with HostGator. Its page code does not include analytics or advertising scripts, set cookies or use browser storage. Images and other page assets are served with the website.

The hosting service may record technical access and security information, such as your IP address, the page requested, the request time and browser information. These records are separate from page-level analytics. Contact PDC if you need information about hosting logs, access to them or the retention arrangements that apply.

Contacting PDC

Telephone links open your device’s calling function. Email links open your chosen email application; the website itself does not send the message. Your telephone or email provider and PDC’s receiving systems handle those communications.

The optional WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp when you choose to follow it. The website does not load a WhatsApp widget or send your message; no message is sent automatically. WhatsApp handles the conversation under its own terms and privacy arrangements. Keep your first message brief and agree a suitable method before sharing sensitive documents.

An enquiry may include your contact details and the information you choose to provide. Start with a brief outline so PDC can understand and respond to your question. Do not include a passport, a full case file or unnecessary information about another person in your first message. Agree a suitable transfer method before sending sensitive documents.

Downloads and outside websites

The free checklists and templates can be downloaded without a client account. Information entered into your downloaded copy is not automatically sent to PDC. Keep completed copies somewhere appropriate for their sensitivity.

Links to Trustpilot, public records, associated websites and other resources open separate websites. Those services have their own privacy information and controls. PDC’s website does not load an embedded review widget or social-media player.

Enquiries and investigation records

Information needed for an investigation depends on the agreed instruction. Contact PDC for the information-handling arrangements relevant to your matter, including the purposes, applicable legal basis, recipients, service providers, retention criteria and any overseas handling.

This website does not provide private case storage. Agree who is authorised to receive updates and how reports or documents will be transferred. Include your matter reference, if available, when asking about a record, without attaching unnecessary personal information.

Your rights and questions

Depending on the circumstances, data protection rights can include access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability. Where processing relies on consent, that consent can be withdrawn. These rights have conditions and exceptions; a request must be considered on its facts.

Email info@pdc.org.uk to ask a privacy question, make a request or raise a concern. Explain what you need and how you would prefer to receive a response. You do not need to send identity documents with your first email. If further information is needed, agree the next step with PDC.

The Information Commissioner’s Office provides guidance about your rights and making a data protection complaint. Its guidance is linked below.
