What information do I need to provide?
Article
Tracing long lost relatives can be a lengthy and expensive process. A lot depends on how much information we have to start with and how long ago the subject was last known of.
We would need as much of the following as possible:
Name (full name if possible)
Last known address
How long ago at last known address?
Any other relatives
Last known place of work
Any other information
Of course, in many cases, there is very limited information. This is a typical example...
The client is searching for her biological father; he separated from the client's mother 31 years ago. The client was 3 at the time. The client's mother is now deceased. The family used to live in Poole in Dorset, but the client can't remember the address. The client doesn't have the father's date of birth. No other information is available.
