How long does surveillance last?
Article
Surveillance can take anything from an hour to a few weeks, or even months. An average matrimonial case may take only a few hours for enough evidence to be gathered. The time required depends on many factors, such as how much evidence is required and how frequently the subject moves around.
Other types of surveillance cases may be spread of a longer period of time, such as proving the subject is co-habitating with someone.
