Surveillance is charged (per operative*) at £45 per hour and 50p per mile.
There is a minimum charge of four hours for each attendance. Charges start from the moment the operative leaves his base to the moment he returns (this is standard throughout the industry). Please note that we cap travelling time to an hour each way, regardless of how long it takes to reach the target location.
Expenses are passed on at cost price – e.g. tolls, entrance fees to events, train tickets and so on.
- All photographic evidence is included in the price.
- There is no extra charge for unsociable hours.
- There is no surcharge for paying by credit card.
* The number of operatives required depends on the individual circumstances of the case, but usually it is one operative for static surveillance and two or more for mobile surveillance. A typical example of static surveillance is watching a property, while mobile surveillance might be following the subject from one location to another.
